Yeah, we had one of those in the recent weeks. It was a competition even.

I bought tickets for me, some friends and a boy to go see this. Needless to say, the boy and I fizzled out even before this day came. Friends came through as always.

So one hot and sweaty evening, kids of all ages gathered at Manila Bay to go see these things go boom!  Cameras and tripods took over the usually empty seawall, bodies squeezed in or sat themselves on the pavement while vendors celebrated the smell of  a massive sell.

We clapped and oohhed and aahhed and high fived the stranger next to us at every eruption above us. What is it about fireworks that brings out the kids in us anyway?

reminds you of something?

  1. Beautiful photos! I always find it very hard to photograph fireworks, great job! Thanks for following my journey, it means a lot. I will definitely be on the lookout for your next post!

    1. Thank you. Those were lucky shots as I was busy watching the fireworks as it happened and just let my fingers do their thing with the shot button 🙂 I’m also a follower of your blog. I find your travel posts very interesting.
